- Other dangerous articles: Such as magnetised, offensive, or irritating materials. Briefcases and attaché cases with installed alarm devices.
Restricted articlesCertain items can be carried only with advance approval, according to policies of Air India, interlining carriers and local regulations.
MacBook Pro laptopsApple Inc. issued an advisory to revoke the carriage of a certain number of old-generation 15-inch MacBook Pro laptops. The sale of restricted stock was stated as primarily sold between Sep 2015 and Feb 2017. This was done due to a possible overheating issue of the battery while in use.
